Meeting opened - time unknown - Mr. Perno, Mr. Brunton absent.

Public Comments:

Ms. Gail Ford said she voted FOR the school budget, but since it was defeated 210-203, the Council should honor the vote and cut the school budget. The no votes were 1.6 percent more than the yes votes, so she recommended cutting 1.6 percent of the amount raised by taxes - about $34,000. She recommended specific position cuts.

Mr. Marvin Gaskill said he had recommended that the school change its organization. Disappointed that there are no changes to the budget.

Mr. Robert [garbled] wanted to know what the proposed changes are that the Council will be voting on. Mr. Brickley ran through the budget provided to the Council committees for the school budget.

Resolution 10-58, the school budget resolution, was passed 4-0 with no changes to the budget proposed by the school board and defeated in the school board election.

Adjourned, time unknown.
