Mr. James Moore also discussed Community Center fees.
Old Business:
606 W. Maple Inspections -
Code Enforcement Officer Bill Watkins and Fire Inspector Kevin Patti reported on recent inspections at 606 West Maple Avenue (Wellwood apartments). Notably, they did not have access to the boiler room.
Issues were all maintenance-related. Mr. Perno asked if there were any imminent hazards. When the inspectors responded in the negative, Mr. Perno pressed, asking several more times during the discussion if they were sure there were no mminent hazards.
New Business:
Ordinance 10-4 (Community Center fees) was introduced on a vote of 6-0.
On consent agenda:
Passed 6-0.
Mr. North read a proclamation for Click-it or ticket.
Council approved a weddding in Wellwood Park 6-0.
Frank North made several comments on the budget. He wants to hold the budget with no increase. The state has cut $143,000 in aid, which would amount to a 9 cent local tax increase to offset.
