Meeting opened 7:30 - all present
Joe Brickley and John Alloway sworn in.
Roll call of new Council - all present.
Council elected Anthony Perno president of Council - 6-0.
Remarks made by Frank North.
Proclamation read for Police Sergeant Bill Watson, who retired in December 2009.
Frank North announced Council assignments. Approved by Council 6-0.
Frank North announced 2010 Annual Appointments, Approved 6-0.
Frank North announced 2010 Boards & Commissions. Approved 6-0.
New Business:
On consent agenda (note that R10-10 was removed from consent agenda at request of M. Brunton for separate consideration):
Resolution 10-18 (Note that this was a last-minute addition to the agenda, and does not appear ON the agenda)
Passed 6-0.
Resolution 10-10 (Passed 5-1, Mr. Brunton dissenting. Reason for Mr. Brunton's dissent: One of the professionals being appointed has in the past performed inadequately in Mr. Brunton's opinion, and should not be reappointed.)
Oath of office was administered for all Borough non-elected officials present.
2010 Council meetings schedule was approved 6-0
2010 Borough Holidays was approved 6-0.
