ENGINEER'S REPORT - Mr. Brickley provided a discussion of proposed borough projects along with a multi-page summary of their estimated costs and actual engineering expenditures to date. Here are the summary pages: Page 1, Page 2, Page 3. Note the engineering funds spent to date.
Mr. Kevin Barnett:
1. Suggested another option from Speed Humps for Oak Terrace traffic control - make Oak Terrace one way. Said all Oak Terrace residents support the idea. Police Chief indicated no issue with it. Fire Department also indicated they have no issue.

DISCUSSION Borough Hall furniture and carpet (Costs of new furniture and carpet for Borough Hall offices was discussed. Two different qualities of furniture were discussed - the less expensive is lower quality. There is sufficient money in the budget for either set)

After Private session ended, Council went back into public session and voted 5-0 to authorize an appraisal of 24 West End (the abandoned property).
Council also discussed current status of Wellwood Apartments (606 W. Maple Av). Mr. Higgins and Mayor North talked with NJ Norse Friday. Council voted 5-0 to require that NJ Norse perform to the agreement they signed with the borough by six months after the borough signed it (by May 18, 2009).
