ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF MERCHANTVILLE, COUNTY OF CAMDEN AND STATE OF NEW JERSEY AMENDING CHAPTER 25, FEES, IN THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF MERCHANTVILLE
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of Merchantville, County of Camden, and State of New Jersey, that Article II of Chapter 25, Fees for Public Records, in the Code of the Borough of Merchantville is hereby amended as follows:
ARTICLE I. SECTION 25-7 Fee Schedule.
The following schedule of fees is hereby added to the fees so listed in Section 7 of Article II. of Chapter 25 of the Code of the Borough of Merchantville, as follows:
Lien Redemption Request: 1st Request (in writing): No charge
2nd Request (in writing): No charge
3rd and subsequent Requests (in writing): $50.00
Summer recreation program (per child)
Residents $125.00
Non Residents $150.00
Community Center fees
General rental 5 hours $600.00
Deposit $150.00
Each additional hour $175.00
Funeral $260.00
Meeting without food upstairs 3 hours $ 45.00
Meeting without food downstairs 3 hours $ 30.00
Meeting with food in lei of 3 hours $155.00
Each additional hour for meeting or decorating $ 75.00
ARTICLE II.
All Ordinances contrary to the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent that they are inconsistent herewith.
ARTICLE III.
This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication according to law.

The foregoing ordinance was introduced by Mayor and Council at a meeting held on March 22, 2010. This Ordinance will be considered for adoption on final reading and public hearing to be held on April 12, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Meeting Room, Merchantville Borough Hall, 1 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville, New Jersey.
The purpose of this Ordinance is to set Community Center fees, Parks/Playground fees and codify the fees for written requests for lien redemptions for properties within the Borough of Merchantville. A copy of this Ordinance is available at no charge to the general public between the hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday (Legal Holidays excluded), at the Office of the Borough Clerk, Merchantville Borough Hall, 1 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville, New Jersey.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH SWIFTREACH NETWORKS, INC. FOR THE FURNISHING OF EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM BID A-58 FOR THE CAMDEN COUNTY COOPERATIVE PRICING SYSTEMS, SYSTEM IDENTIFIER #57-CCCPS FOR A TERM THROUGH SEPTEMBER 25, 2010
WHEREAS, by resolution no. 36 adopted September 18, 2008 as amended by Resolution no. 46 adopted November 13, 2008, the Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholders awarded a contract to Swiftreach Networks, Inc., 31 Industrial Avenue, Nahwah, New Jersey 07430, for Bid A-58, Emergency Notification System for the Camden County Department of Public Safety under the Camden County Cooperative Pricing System 57-CCCPS, for a term commencing September 26, 2008 through September 25, 2009; and
WHEREAS, said Bid A-58, provided for second and third year option renewals, said options to be exercised at the sole discretion of the County; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Chosen Freeholders to exercise the second year option pursuant to Bid-58, Emergency Notification System for the Camden County Department of Public Safety under the Camden County Cooperative Pricing System 57-CCCps, for the term September 26, 2009 through September 25, 2010,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Borough Council of the Borough of Merchantville that the proper officials be and are hereby authorized to extend the contract with Swiftreach Networks, Inc., 31 Industrial Avenue, Nahwah, New Jersey 07430, pursuant to the terms and conditions of this bid for a period of one-year.

RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH OF MERCHANTVILLE, COUNTY OF CAMDEN AND STATE OF NEW JERSEY APPROVING CHESTNUT AVENUE STREET CLOSING FOR BEER GARDEN
BE IT RESOLVED, that in accordance to Chapter 5, Article 2 of the Code of the Borough of Merchantville that traffic on public property known as Chestnut Avenue between Centre Street and Alexander Avenue be and hereby temporally suspended to the public on April 17, 2010 for a period that shall run from 7:00 PM and suspend at 12:00 AM for the public event known as the Spring Fling;
